Bowie's beautiful ballad from Young Americans (1975).

I love this chord progression. It's simple and elegant. The chord rotation is unexpected - D, G, A, D, G, F#m, Em, A. It's a little difficult to perform because the A 7 breaks which, on his recording, are lovely and slinky/funky with Alomar's guitar moving against the static bass, is how is works, IMHO. I can't do that with just the one of me...

Anyhow, I feel very brave to have tried. Possible rather stupid. Hope not.
