Another reason those songs sunk in: 'CU' has something I haven't seen in a biopic before - they play the songs all the way through.

The most intense moments of the movie for me were when β€žheβ€œ was playing his songs to Woody Guthrie. I feel lucky to having seen him in concert. Unforgettable evenings.

Great moments indeed. Song to Woody was wonderful.

I was born in '63 and growing up I didn't understand the buzz around Dylan and why going electric was a thing. This movie completely explained that. What a good film and cast.

My wife and I liked it a lot. More than once during the movie I shouted (at home), "who writes songs like that?!"

I loved the film too. In theme and feel it reminded me a bit of Inside Llewyn Davis - I wonder did you ever see that? Never noticed those flaws in the lyrics you mentioned until now. But then I can't write lyrics, and I love Bob Dylan and U2 in spite of their many flaws. Musical geniuses have that effect on me!

I thought the movie ended too early. I get the title but a sequel should be made β€œScrew Fame Bob Grew Up”.
